Superb Facilities

Each room within the club has something different to offer. The Club can be used for business or private functions; from a small dinner party for four to a formal sit-down banquet for 110. Function menus are tailored to meet individual requirements.

The club’s dining room is magnificent in every respect; from the food and service, to the decor and ambience. The dining room opens on to a delightful terrace for outdoor summer dining. Lunch is available Monday to Friday for members and their guests, providing them with excellent value.

The elegant Ritchie Room in the east wing is availbable for private dining and meetings.

The fine cuisine and delightful atmosphere of the Club’s dining rooms are a special privilege of membership of the Club.

Catering 

The Club provides a comfortable environment in which to dine, relax and meet friends.

The Dunedin Club employs its own resident Chef.

Menus are created and tailored to suit each occasion or function in any of our five dining areas. All our menu items are prepared and cooked using the best local produce.

We are flexible with menu options and also cater for special dietary requirements with notice.

Our Wine list offers an extensive selection of wines to compliment the Chef's cuisine.

If you are looking for a tranquil environment to host your next business meeting or corporate function, the Club is an ideal venue. One of the key benefits is the ease of parking in front of the Club house for your guests.

The Club is available for private functions on Saturday with a minimum of 30 guests for a dinner or 50 guests for a cocktail party.

The Reading Room is ideal for seminars for up to 35 people with an adjacent area available for catering. We offer a selection of coffee break and working lunch menus.

This room is equally suited for dinner parties for up to 30 people.

Audio visual equipment can be organised. The Club has a microphone and sound system available for hire. A whiteboard is also available at the Club.

The elegant Ritchie Room in the East wing is ideally suited for private dining and meetings.

This room has a boardroom table that seats up to 14 people and offers both privacy and comfort.

The Club bar is a comfortable and inviting meeting place offering a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Adjacent to the Club bar is the Card Room an intimate room suitable for intimate dinners and business meetings for up to 12 people.

Members are welcome to use any of the Club’s sporting facilities, including the billiard room, bowling green and squash court.

Two full sized tables dominate the Billiard Room, a room steeped in history with armed services memorabilia and trophy heads. The Club runs snooker and billiards competitions where conviviality if often more important than skill.

This room is also an ideal setting for an intimate private dinner for up to 12 people.

The Dunedin Club is an exclusive wedding venue that can cater for up to 110 guests.

We understand that every wedding is unique and we can tailor our service to meet your needs. We are experienced in delivering you a stress free, special day.

Outdoors amidst the trees and the gracious grounds you'll find an enchanting backdrop for your ceremony or photographs, and perhaps pre-dinner drinks and cocktails.

To use the Dunedin Club as a wedding venue it is a requirement to either be a member or to be sponsored by a member.
